There are few better ways to spend a vacation than to spend some time at Georgian Bay. There is something there for everybody not matter what your interests. There is no better way to get back to nature. The biggest challenge that you are going to have with a vacation in Georgian Bay is finding a place to stay. This is why we strongly suggest that you consider the option of our lovely cottage.

The main reason that you would want to rent our cottage is that Georgian Bay is cottage country. It is one of the most popular vacation destinations in Canada (the last years the Georgian Bay attracted even more visitors than the immense popular province Saskatchewan, mainly because of all the great outdoor activities that are available. Whether you are into the beach, boating, sailing, hiking or any other outdoor activity you are going to be able to do it on Georgian Bay. This is why the region is so popular and why you should definitely consider a vacation in the area.

Of course Georgian Bay is quite a large area so location is an important factor when you are looking for a cottage in the area. The most desirable destination is Tobermory which is where our cottage is located. The reason that Tobermory is such a popular location is that it is close to the most scenic area of the bay as well as to the Bruce Peninsula National Park which is home to a wide variety of wild life and is a popular destination for hiking. The cottage is also located close to the town itself which contains many amenities that will make your stay in the area more enjoyable.

When it comes to cottages there can be a huge difference in the quality of what you are getting. It could be anything from a rundown shack to a luxury lodge. Ours falls somewhere in between. There is a full kitchen, something that a lot of cottages don't have. There is also a living room with a fire place and a patio that is attached. There are two bedrooms so that there is plenty of room for you and your family to enjoy their stay. The place is well maintained and everything in it is working properly.

In general the cabin is rented on a weekly basis from Friday to Friday. It normally isn't all that practical to visit the Georgian Bay region for anything shorter than that anyway. There is lots to do in the area if you decide that you have had enough of getting back to nature. There is an excellent golf course located nearby and there is shopping and restaurants located in the town that you can visit. There is something for everybody in Tobermory and the best way to see it is to spend a week at our cottage, we are sure that you will enjoy your stay.
